Business functions may include events such as awards evenings, staff farewells, seminars, training or team-building retreats, Christmas events, AGM and business milestone celebrations.

Location Information

Rosebrooke Hall and Gardens is located in the Matamata-Piako area of east Waikato near the Kaimai mountain range. It is centred between the three townships of Te Aroha, Matamata and Morrinsville, each around 15 minutes drive away.

The venue enjoys a peaceful Waikato rural setting surrounded by the grassy fields of neighbouring dairy farms, and sometimes cows can be seen in the distance.

The backdrop to the venue is the nearby Kaimai mountain range featuring Wairere Falls and the beautiful Mount Te Aroha. Rosebrooke is not far from Hobbiton, 75 minutes from Tauranga, 50 minutes from Hamilton and 90 minutes from central Auckland.

Capacity Information

For events requiring seating at tables inside the hall, Rosebrooke capacity is 100 people
For other events, more people may be hosted with a variety of seating options

up to 100 guests may be seated inside the hall building
up to 100 guests may be seated in the Bell Tower outdoor chapel on pew seating
up to 100 guests may be seated in the courtyard

Outdoor Facilities

Rosebrooke has a range of furniture options for use in the chapel and courtyard zones:

100 white indoor/outdoor chairs and 20 white wooden outdoor pew seats.
Courtyard tables and seating for up to 70 with sun umbrellas and bar leaners.

Other Courtyard Facilities include:

A courtyard bar and beverage station.
A courtyard bandstand with power suitable for 2 musicians.
A courtyard-covered stage with power and seating suitable for 3 musicians.
Vintage outdoor games.
Beanbags for the lawn.
An indoor/outdoor sound system with microphone.

Facilities Inside The Hall

Rosebrooke has all the facilities needed for functions and special events:

Wheelchair access ramp at the rear of the building and a wheelchair-accessible toilet.
One long bridal table to seat up to 10 VIPs with 10 beautiful vintage chairs.
9 wooden tables with 100 gold banquet chairs.
A vintage bar fully equipped with glassware, sterilizer, fridge plus tea/coffee facilities.
An adjoining service room for caterers and service staff with ramp access into the hall.
Food truck/catering truck parking with power supply.
A small stage ideal for up to three musicians or a DJ.
A foyer entrance with a guest book stand and a magnetic photo wall for polaroid camera snapshots.

Venue Hire for Business Functions

The Hall facilities at Rosebrooke Hall and Gardens offer a unique and memorable Waikato venue for hire for special business functions such as seminars, workshops, AGM’s, Christmas functions and awards events. There are beautiful break out space options including the Bell Tower outdoor chapel lawn, the courtyard with it’s festoon lights, outdoor furniture, sun umbrellas and an outdoor bar and beverage station. The garden and tipi areas are also beautiful zones to host your guests and VIP’s. Inside the hall is an exclusive, private and versatile space equipped with a bar and access for catering services. The venue is WIFI connected. It has a projector and screen, wireless microphones, and an indoor/outdoor sound system with Bluetooth.

Pricing for Business Functions:
Rosebrooke pricing for a business function is based on an $80 per hour charge rate for the Hall plus a $100 cleaning fee. Any additional costs incurred will be agreed in advance on a user pays basis.
